Hey family,
Ya I like it when it snows. Except when we get stuck in it like we did on Friday. It took us an hour to shovel ourselves out of this stupid driveway-ish thing, but alas we proved conqueror. I wish it would snow more though, apparently we’re having a ‘mild’ year, which is lame. O well, maybe next year. Its getting really hot here, got up to 37 the other day, squelching. We’ve stopped wearing coats, far too hot.
Sorry to hear about Abby’s injury, hope she gets better. I’ll pray for her. Give her a hug for me.
Thanks for all the packages. The one the shirt came in was HUGE. I thought it was like 5 footballs or something, but it was all packaging, we had a good laugh. Its way too big, but should make a good night shirt or something. And thanks a lot for the little blanket, its nice and soft.
This week was ok. We didn’t find any new investigators, but we do have some really good potentials. We had an awesome dinner/lesson with a family in the branch. They are probably the most missionary minded family here. They each came up with at least one name and how they were going to introduce them to us. So hopefully we should see something happen there. O we also sat down with the mission leader and re-did the Branch Mission Plan. It’s a lot simpler and easier to follow, plus its realistic.
O and Elder Perry is coming to Milwaukee on Thurs. We were invited (the Appleton zone), but are now uninvited due to supposed weather conditions. My prediction is there is only about 3 inches that melts fairly quickly off the roads. Anyway, that was saddening, but we’re going to Neenah to watch a broadcast. So that should be cool.
I can’t believe I’m almost 20. If I didn’t know everything as a teenager, surely I know everything now. A family in the Branch is taking us to a Mexican restaurant (Wis. Is the place to go for Mexican food, right?) which is apparently the best around.
Sorry I can’t write more, I have to figure out this new email system they’re putting up for missionaries. Apparently, its way better and has little to no bugs, unlike the current one. My new email account for that is alexander.julian@myldsmail.net.
Ok, have a great week!
Love

ReplyDeletehaha i wanna know what you guys send him...im guessing it was a shirt of somesort. i cant wait to send kyle packages! i'm glad alex is doing well!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your support! That was so thoughtful of you to send him a card Rondi! Yah, Alyssa, I have to admit that's one way I feel better that he's gone - I send him packages. The huge shirt was a birthday present. He's close to Green Bay, and although he's a Steeler's fan, I sent him an XL Packers shirt direct from some NFL type online store...I wrote "when in Rome...." on the gift card. I sent him a fleece blanket form Land's End and ordered it "monogrammed" with WeLoveYou. Is that sappy or what? :0
ReplyDeletethats awesome! i'm trying to think of something to put into a package so i can send it at the end of this month of beginning of next.
